TransportMe

Under certain circumstances, full-time child students may be issued a TransportMe student free bus pass by the Department of State Growth for travel between home and school. Free travel applies on weekdays only for the travel between home and school only. TransportMe student free bus passes cannot be used on weekends, during school holidays, or for general travel. TransportMe student free bus passes must be within the expiry date displayed on the card, if the card is out of date, a standard student cash fare of $2.00 will be charged. Greencard

A Greencard student free bus pass is for free travel on weekdays between home and school only. Green student free bus passes cannot be used on weekends, during school holidays, or for general travel. Greencard student free bus passes must be within the expiry date displayed on the card, if the card is out of date, a standard student cash fare of $2.00 will be charged. If the Greencard does not have the year displayed on it, the card will be treated as a student ID and will entitle the student to a regular student/child fare of $2.00.

25 November 2022, COVID-19 Risk Level in Tasmania raised to MODERATE.
Tasmania has raised the official COVID-19 Risk Level to MODERATE as the State continues to experience increases in COVID-19 cases. Public Health recommends wearing a face mask in crowded indoor spaces, on Public Transport, and when visiting people who may be at risk of severe illness. Remember if you have symptoms, you should stay home and get tested for COVID-19 if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms, no matter how mild.
