From Monday 30 October 2017, bus routes and timetables will change for the Leith and Turners Beach school buses.

Why are the bus routes changing?
The new routes will mean that the Leith school bus will no longer need to turn right on the Bass Highway at either Short Street or Braddons Lookout Road. The changes have been implemented to address safety concerns regarding the current bus route.

When will the new bus timetables start?
The new timetables will commence on Monday 30 October 2017, to provide time for parents and students to make adjustments to usual routines where they are impacted by changed bus times.

My children catch the bus to school. What does this mean for my children?
Every student who currently catches the Turners Beach or Leith bus to school will still be able to do so. However, it might be a different bus and the bus might travel at a different time.
For most students, there will be changes to the bus timetable. Please check the new arrival times of your regular bus stops.
For some students, there will be changes to the bus you need to catch to get to and from school.
For students who catch the bus at Don River Railway, you will need to contact the Department of State Growth to arrange a free travel pass.
